Paducah, KY – The four candidates for Paducah's city manager position will meet residents at a reception Thursday. Patrick DeGraves, Michael McDowell, William Shanahan, Junior, and Ben South, are finalists for the position. They hail from Wisconsin, Missouri, Georgia and Colorado respectively. Paducah's City Manager Jim Zumwalt resigned in March, following disagreements with the city commission. The Mayor and Commissioners will interview the candidates individually in closed session Friday. Paducah officials could announce their decision as early as next week.
