Paducah, KY – McCracken County school teachers and employees will hear a presentation this morning from a nationally-known author, educator and motivational speaker. Superintendent Nancy Waldrop tells the Paducah Sun she expects Ron Clark's speech to motivate teachers and improve their classroom skills at today's 90-minute talk. The school system is shelling out over $16,000 for Clark's visit. Kentucky education commissioner Terry Holliday and US Representative Ed Whitfield are also expected to speak this morning. The event takes place in the Carson Center.
