Clarksville, TN – A Clarksville area woman is in jail after leaving her infant in a hot car yesterday. 33 year-old Carmen Ellen Miller is charged with child neglect after a man found her infant son in her car parked in a Kroger parking lot. The man heard the 10-month-old crying and found him in the car with the back windows rolled down four to six inches. The man called 911 and received help from responders to get the child out of the car. When Miller came to the front of the store she said she was only gone for a few minutes and had forgotten the child was with her. Police report the baby is alright.
