Tennessee – Tennessee voters go to the polls Thursday. The primary will decide who enters the final race for governor, U.S. congress and the state legislature. This year Tennessee set a new state primary early voting record. More than half a million Tennesseans cast early ballots. For the first time, the curious can follow unofficial election results as they're posted, on the Tennessee Department of State, Divisions of Elections website. Historically, the state posted only the final numbers, often not available until late at night or the following morning. Results will start appearing on the state's website after the polls closes, statewide at 7 PM central time.
