Paducah, KY – The Reidland-Farley Fire Department has its first aerial truck after trading its quarter-million-dollar-plus fire and rescue boat purchased last year under former Chief Richard Tapp's administration. The Paducah Sun reports the Alabama company who made the swap had no trouble finding a buyer. Reidland-Farley had been trying to sell the boat for half a year with no luck. The trade also included a rescue-pumper truck. Chief Rick Archer says the two used trucks are in good condition and should be ready for service in two to three weeks.
