Hopkinsville, KY – Christian County School officials have hired a new interim transportation director. The move follows problems with bus routes during the first week of school that caused some students to arrive and get home late. Spokesperson Regan Honeycutt says former assistant superintendent Tom McGinnis will take over the transportation job. Honeycutt confirms interim director Roger Kern stepped down because of the bus route incident. Honeycutt says Kern voluntarily took a job as a bus driver instead.
