Paducah, KY – Representatives from western Kentucky school districts are gearing up for tomorrow's live panel discussions on education. Kentucky Education Television will broadcast the forums held at ten sites across the state. Fulton County Superintendent Dennis Bledsoe expects the discussion will stick to the initiatives outlined by the Transforming Education in Kentucky Taskforce, or TEK. Those include improving college readiness and using technology to improve education. Bledsoe also hopes the Governor will address how Kentucky will benefit from federal dollars allocated to help save teacher jobs. The TEK taskforce will present their recommendations for consideration during next year's legislative session.
