McCracken County ACT Scores Up

By Rose Krzton-Presson

Murray, KY – McCracken County High School students' ACT scores are 1.2 points higher than the state average. 478 McCracken County high school juniors' composite ACT score of 19.7 ranks 18th out of Kentucky's 174 school districts. McCracken County administrators are pleased with the students' performance. Assistant Superintendent Heath Cartwright attributes the higher than average score to new block scheduling and a one-to-one laptop program.
