Gleason, Tenn. – A Gleason, Tennessee man is the new head of the state's Department of Agriculture. Governor Phil Bredesen announced Friday that Terry J. Oliver would take over the post after a sudden resignation by then-commissioner Ken Givens. Givens stepped down last week to act as senior adviser in Mike McWherter's bid for the governor's office.
