Paducah, KY – Paducah is again searching for a new city manager after its consulting firm warned it no longer endorsed top-candidate Ben South of Colorado. The Mercer Group pulled its endorsement of South citing sensitive information. South beat out 53 other applicants for the position. Interim City Manager Jonathan Perkins tells the Paducah Sun he plans to meet with Mercer Group today to reopen the search. City officials are considering re-evaluating the other top three finalists who interviewed for the position.
