Nashville, TN – Tennessee is offering online assistance to the owners and operators of underground petroleum storage tanks in complying with regulatory requirements. The Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation's Division of Underground Storage Tanks have made the training tool, Tennessee Tank Helper, available for free.
Director of Environment and Conservation's Division of Underground Storage Tanks Stan Boyd says the application creates a series of lessons customized to an owner's facility or operator category, followed by quizzes for each lesson. Once training is complete, Tennessee Tank Helper generates a training certificate and a customized compliance plan.
