Murray, KY – Cadiz and Trigg County 2009 Tourism numbers are up nearly one million dollars from 2008. Executive Director of the Cadiz/Trigg County Tourism Commission Bill Stevens estimates about 90 percent of the revenue comes from visitors to the Lake Barkley area. Trigg County's 2009 tourism impact is about $22.1 million- roughly five percent of the over $440 million impact from the Western Kentucky Lakes and Rivers Region.
