Lexington, KY – A judge has ruled prosecutors can seek the death penalty against a former Kentucky lawmaker charged with murder in the shooting of his ex-fiancee. Fayette Circuit Judge Pamela Goodwine made her ruling Thursday following nearly a full day of testimony and arguments in the case against Steve Nunn. Goodwine agreed with prosecutors that Nunn's alleged violation of a court order makes the crime a possible death case.
