Montgomery County, Tenn. – Montgomery County, Tennessee is eligible for a recycling rebate from the state's Department of Environment and Conservation. The agency's Division of Solid Waste Management is making a pool of $300,000 available to the eleven counties that generate the most waste. The rebate requires a dollar-for-dollar match. It can be used to establish new programs, collection sites and promotion. Counties and municipalities must return an application to the Department of Environment and Conservation to receive the rebate funds.
