Paducah, KY – Paducah's Convention Center Corporation wants to sell the naming rights to the city's Expo Center. The exhibition hall, which is part of the Julian Carroll Convention Center, hosts annual events like trade, home and quilt shows. Board members outlined a plan yesterday to sell a 10-year naming commitment for $275,000. The money will go towards increasing revenue beyond rental fees. Municipal funds have subsidized the convention center for some time. The board is accepting sealed bids beginning next week until the beginning of November.
