Murray, KY – The legal dispute between Murray's Cracker Barrel Old Country Store and a planned Zaxby's restaurant nearby has been rescheduled. The issue stems from a Cracker Barrel lawsuit citing irreparable harm to its business. It claims Zaxby's will use Cracker Barrel's parking space, block its visibility and create a safety concern for customers and employees. Gary Waller Investments counter-sued demanding Cracker Barrel prove its claim. Cracker Barrel officials tell the Murray Ledger and Times they have parking rights at the lot, but Waller argues the company only has "non-exclusive" rights to use the lot. The case goes to Calloway County Circuit Court on September 3rd.
