Smithland, KY – A Livingston Central High School student died in a car accident this (Thursday) morning in Smithland. Emergency responders pronounced 16-year-old Austin Crouch dead at the scene after his truck crossed the center line and struck an oncoming vehicle. Crouch's passenger, 16-year-old Judy Rogers, has been treated and released from Western Baptist Hospital. School officials have brought in a team of grief counselors to assist students in coping with Crouch's passing. Funeral arrangements are currently pending.
