Paducah, KY – Work has begun on a new bridge to carry traffic on US 60 over the Tennessee River. Ground for the new four-lane bridge broke today. It will replace the two-lane Ledbetter Bridge, which opened in 1931. A new bridge will provide a better connection between two heavily traveled highways, US 60 and US 62. The $95 million project will likely take two to three years to complete.
