Hopkinsville, KY – Kentucky 3rd district State Senator Joey Pendleton has been hospitalized after suffering a heart attack. Medical officials airlifted Pendleton to Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington yesterday where he later had surgery. The Kentucky New Era Reports doctors say he is currently out of danger. The Democratic Senator from Hopkinsville has represented Christian, Logan and Todd Counties for 17 years.
