Knoxville, TN – The Tennessee Valley Authority has been chosen among the top utilities in the country and Canada in economic development. Atlanta-based Site Selection magazine selected TVA based on capital investment and job creation in 2009. The utility was among 10 picked for the honor. The publication reports the designation gauges the ability of utilities to complement power delivery with fostering corporate investment in their territories.
