Paris, TN – Paris, Tennessee commissioners have accepted a lower than expected bid for a sewer expansion project. Extending the sewer system into the Whiskey Ridge area is expected to cost just under a quarter-million dollars if the work is completed by low-bidder Marbury Construction. City Manager Jack Tarkington tells the Paris Post Intelligencer the lower bid will affect how much the city has to match in grant funding, possibly saving up to $35,000.
