Nashville, TN – A recent Nashville law allowing guns in parks has resulted in only two disturbances. Neither incident involved violence. The June 2009 law permits holders to carry firearms in all 53 parks and 81 state natural areas. A clause in the bill has allowed many local governments to keep the bill's impact to only state parks.
