Murray, KY – A man charged with the beating death of a Murray resident appeared in court today for pre-trial conferencing. 29-year-old Timothy Adams is charged with complicity to murder and tampering with evidence in the death of Carl Douglas McGowan. Family members reported McGowan missing October 11 last year. His body was found near the side of a road the next day. A hearing is scheduled for December 14.
