Gilbertsville, Ky. – A Gilbertsville businessman has been arrested for selling alcohol. The Marshall County Sheriff charged Ken-Bar Lodge owner Joseph P. Dooley with illegal sale of alcohol in a dry territory. The arrest comes after a month-long joint investigation by Marshall and McCracken county law enforcement. Officers seized more than 300 containers of beer, 90 bottles of hard liquor including moonshine, receipts documenting alcohol sales, and nearly $8,000 in cash. The investigation is ongoing, and further charges are pending. Dooley was taken to Marshall County Jail, but released on cash bond. He appears in Court September 29.
