Murray, KY – Murray State University faculty have elected Jack Rose to the school's Board of Regents. The Murray State News reports Rose beat Mark Wattier for the position in a runoff ballot yesterday. The two were the top vote-getters in a four-way ballot last week. Rose, a professor and former dean of the College of Education, is expected to be sworn in Friday. He fills a seat left vacant by Jay Morgan who resigned after being promoted to associate provost earlier this year.
