Murray, KY – Murray State University officially has its first doctorate program. The board of regents Friday created the school's doctor of nursing practice program, designed to take those with bachelors and masters degrees into advanced practice. MSU anticipates offering the program starting in August 2012. The board of regents also opted to renew President Randy Dunn's contract into 2014.
