Clarksville, TN – Clarksville has a retail gap. In other words, local demand for shopping has outstripped its actual supply according to the latest Master Plan report. One recommendation to fill the gap is to expand the Governor's Square Mall area eastward and focus on developing land around Gateway Medical Center. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports planners propose extending an alternate entrance on Ted Crozier Boulevard, hoping the expansion will help draw shoppers region-wide.
