Country Junction, TN – A pilot instructor and his student were uninjured when their plane crashed on Kentucky Lake Monday. Ernest Jiark of Murray was giving Eric Giles instructions on water landing when one of the floats cracked during an attempt causing the aircraft to overturn. The Paris Post Intelligencer reports both men are accomplished pilots. The capsized plane was expected to be removed from the water yesterday after FAA investigators could review wreckage.
