Paducah, KY – The loan company behind funding the tuitions of many students who attended Paducah's Barkley School of Law before its closure has agreed to reduce pay-back obligations for 127 students. The agreement was brokered by Attorney General Jack Conway's office, which expects the students to save about $3-point-6 million dollars. Conway tells the Paducah Sun Student Loan Xpress agreed to settle last week after being accused of multiple marketing misrepresentations and missing disclosure forms. The Barkley School of Law, formerly named the American Justice School of Law closed almost two years ago and filed for bankruptcy.
