Clarksville, TN – Clarksville-Montgomery County school teachers could see a larger paycheck within the next month. It's the first pay bump for teachers in almost five years. School officials yesterday agreed to implement a two percent cost of living adjustment funded by the federal Education Jobs Bill passed by congress last month. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports the money adds to the school district's step pay matrix, which outlines annual pay increases based on years of experience and a teacher's level of education.
