Cadiz, KY – Trigg County Hospital's biomass project may soon be closer to completion. The Trigg County Fiscal Court has two remaining bids to assess. The board's vote has not been scheduled. The project will be funded by a $1 million grant from the USDA's Forest Service. Cleveland-based Boiler Specialists bid over $470,000 and Perry Bartsch out of Asheville, North Carolina bid just over $1.2 million. The Trigg County Fuels for Community Healthy Facilities Project will provide supplemental heat and electricity for the hospital.
