Marshall County, KY – Falsified bank statements have a Marshall County elementary school looking into a possible case of embezzlement by a school staff member. Superintendent Trent Lovett says the Jonathan Elementary employee, who is not yet being identified, has been terminated. The school board became aware of the allegation earlier this month and investigators found money from several different funds and organizations missing. County Attorney Jeff Edwards tells WPSD-TV criminal charges are possible in the case.
