Oak Grove, KY – Oak Grove, Kentucky residents are suing the Christian County Board of Education for its failure to build an elementary school in the community. The federal suit alleges that under the equal protection clause of the Constitution's 14th Amendment, the school board "has intentionally and repeatedly declined to locate a public school in Oak Grove." The Kentucky New Era reports the lawsuit was filed Friday by Oak Grove city attorney Jason Holland.
