Paducah, KY – United Steelworkers Local 550 members ratified their collective bargaining agreement with LATA Environmental Services of Kentucky to continue environmental cleanup work at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant. The Paducah Sun reports union and company officials issued a joint news release, saying the four-year contract reflects good communications, as well as concern for employee safety and teamwork.
LATA started work this summer under a five-year contract awarded this year.
