Dawson Springs, KY – A new plant may be opening in Dawson Springs. Officials with New Beginning Chemical LLC of Owensboro are considering a site in the city. New Beginning manufactures the heavy duty hand cleaner and stain remover M30. Dawson Springs Mayor Ross Workman says the company is waiting to see what kind of tax incentive the city approves. Council members meet in a specially-called meeting tomorrow to discuss the tax incentive package. New Beginnings has plants in Owensboro and St. Louis. Workman says the Dawson Springs location would open with nine employees with hopes to expand.
