Dawson Springs, KY – Following a closed session yesterday, the Dawson Springs City Council decided to delay a decision about tax incentives for a possible incoming company. Council members want more details from the company, New Beginning Chemical LLC, before approving anything. No representatives from New Beginning attended the meeting. Chief operating officer Mike Coke tells the Madisonville Messenger the only thing stopping New Beginning is a refusal for a five-year tax abatement. The council hopes to hold another special session soon.
