Dunn falls short of UT top five

By Rebecca Feldhaus

Knoxville, TN – Murray State University president Dr. Randy Dunn is out of the running for the University of Tennessee's presidential position. The five candidates include Joe DiPietro of Memphis' UT Institute of Agriculture; Brian Noland of the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission; Robert McGrath from Battelle Memorial Institute; State Legislator and banking CEO Craig Fitzhugh and Jerry Askew with Mercy Health Partners. Dr. Randy Dunn made the top 15 list, but fell short of the top five. Dunn stated this week he is happy at Murray State and was not, in his words, "wholesale looking at another institution."
