Metropolis, IL – Honeywell Corporation officials have requested a Massac County Court order the United Steel Workers Union of Metropolis to stop violating a September restraining order. Honeywell provided the court with videos showing union picketers obstructing, hindering and delaying vehicles entering and exiting the site along Route 45. The company sent a letter to the union requesting they stop the unlawful behavior a day before taking legal action. A Massac County Court judge signed an order requiring union representatives to appear at a hearing October 19th to prove they are not in contempt of the restraining order.
