Murray, KY – Mediators are expected to discuss a Murray murder case today. Commonwealth Attorney Mark Blankenship and court-appointed attorney Cheri Decker will address the case of 38-year-old Kelly Agee. Police say Agee killed her ex-boyfriend, 31-year-old Kenneth Ray Brogdon, during a confrontation at her Poplar Street home. Decker filed a motion Wednesday to dismiss the charge, contending Agee feared for her life because Brogdon had called moments before arriving threatening to kill her. The Paducah Sun reports if the Blankenship and Decker are unable to come to a resolution, Agee will go on trial October 19th.
