Paducah, KY – Two men pleaded guilty in McCracken Circuit Court to committing a drive-by shooting in the Farley area last July. In a plea deal with prosecutors, 18-year-old Dillon Smith of Metropolis and 19-year-old Nicholas McLeod of Paducah pleaded guilty to three counts of wanton endangerment and tampering with evidence in exchange for their attempted murder charges to be dropped. The Paducah Sun reports prosecutors recommend the men serve a five-year sentence. Circuit Judge Tim Kaltenbach is expected to sentence the two early next year and will have the choice of giving them either jail time or probation.
