Clarksville, TN – An unanticipated increase in enrollment in Montgomery County, Tennessee's elementary schools is prompting some reorganization efforts. The school system's enrollment totals nearly 30,000 students, about 350 more than projections estimated. The increase is pushing some of the schools past capacity. The Clarksville Leaf Chronicle reports teachers at the Barkers Mill Elementary School have given up their lounge, several programs have been relocated to other schools and many kindergarten classes are being combined to make room for more students.
