Vienna, IL – An Illinois circuit court judge ruled yesterday locked-out Honeywell workers violated a temporary restraining order by impeding the flow of traffic outside the Metropolis plant on US-45 earlier this month. Judge James Williamson ruled United Steelworkers Union members violated the order after seeing video evidence depicting a man carrying a sign slowly walking in front of a chartered bus which was attempting to turn into the facility's entrance. Following the ruling, Union and Honeywell lawyers produced an agreement to enforce and explain the restraining order to union members. Union President Darrell Lillie tells the Paducah Sun his members will comply with the agreement.
