Nashville, TN – The state of Tennessee's website has been given high marks in a national evaluation. The Center for Digital Government's 2010 Digital States Survey scored the state in the top 10 across the nation, citing efforts toward technology consolidation, reducing technology costs and improving IT security. Tennessee ranked first nationally in the public safety category, and fourth in health and human services for their efforts in electronic health record keeping. Governor Phil Bredesen says using technology to improve the efficiency of government has been a priority.
