Clarksville, TN – Clarksville Police say they've charged a man with abusing his 13-year-old autistic nephew by forcing him to do hard exercises for about 45 minutes. Officers say 29-year-old James Hart required the boy to do wind sprints, jumping jacks and push-ups. Police also quoted a witness saying Hart threatened to run over the boy with an all-terrain vehicle. Hart told investigators he was punishing the youngster for forgetting his homework at school. He has been charged with reckless endangerment, child abuse and neglect and drunken driving. Police say the boy did not appear to need medical attention.
