Paducah, KY – University of Kentucky researchers host two more public meetings to discuss the future of the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant property. The meetings are 6:30 p.m. tonight at West Kentucky Community and Technical College's Emerging Technology center and tomorrow at Ballard Memorial High School. UK research program manager Ted Grossardt and his colleagues will present 12 scenarios for new uses for the land and gauge public reaction. One scenario uses the land for a Wal-Mart distribution center, like one in Hopkinsville. Grossardt says all scenarios are strictly hypothetical at this point.
