Nashville, TN – A Nashville jury has convicted a former Trigg County Attorney and a Hopkinsville businesswoman in a real-estate investment scheme. 66-year-old Kenneth Kennedy, who served one term as County Attorney in Trigg during the 80's, was found guilty of multiple counts of wire and mail fraud. Ann Scarborough of Hopkinsville was also found guilty on several fraud counts and money laundering. The Paducah Sun reports the pair told their victims they would be investing money into projects like Las Vegas strip malls and locating a Disney theme park in middle Tennessee.
