Christian County, KY – A section of highway that's been closed since early May is due to reopen near the Christian-Muhlenberg county line. Repairs along the one-mile section of Kentucky 189 were expected to be completed this past weekend. The road is scheduled to reopen to traffic this morning. The section of highway was closed by a landslide and flash flooding on May 2nd.
State highway officials say Roadway Builders & Parkway Construction of Greenville completed the construction portion of the almost $450,000 repair project five weeks ahead of schedule.
