Tennessee – The Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development projects slow job recovery through 2011. The report, issued this week, shows goods-producing industries are expected to lose more than 15,000 jobs. Trade, transportation, and utilities may lose more than 14,000 jobs, and construction is expected to fall 3.1 percent annually. The report projects, service-providing industries may grow more than 18,000 jobs. Tennessee's green energy sector is also expected to create 6,000 direct jobs.
