Paducah, KY – The National Weather Service has confirmed that at least three tornadoes touched down in Kentucky as a massive storm system moved through the state Tuesday morning. The tornadoes were confirmed in Christian, Warren and Bullitt counties. NWS Paducah meteorologist Rick Shanklin says a tornado with maximum winds of 80 mph touched down in Hopkinsville, causing tree and building damage but no reported injuries. A weather service team reported a slightly more dangerous tornado near Bowling Green with a weaker one in Bullitt County.
