Paducah, KY – Paducah's West Kentucky Community and Technical College will be a recipient of a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation grant. The Changing the Equation grant will fund the creation of a program that focuses on redesigning remedial and developmental math. The college system's President Michael McCall says receiving the grant award is an honor and establishes Kentucky's community college system as a premier one in the nation. WKCTC will share the $2.3 million grant with 38 other two-year institutions across the nation.
